Everybody has a story. We’d love to meet you and hear yours. Maybe you’ve never been to church and are exploring faith in Christ for the first time. Maybe you are a long-time follower of Jesus and are looking for a new church family. Maybe things have been going rough, and you are just looking for help. Whether you have lived in the Davidson area a long time, or are new to the community, or are just passing through, we welcome you, and we’d love for you to join us this Sunday!
Sunday Mornings
Worship Service — 11:00 AM.
Our main weekly gathering is for the whole family. Each service includes singing, prayer, and preaching from God’s Word.
ALIVE — 9:45 AM.
From September to May, we have a program just for kids ages 5 to Grade 6. ALIVE happens in the sanctuary on Sundays before the service and includes singing, a Bible story, and engaging activities (crafts, games, etc.). The purpose of ALIVE is to help kids know from the Bible who God is, how He has sent Jesus to save us, and what it looks like to have faith in Him.
Adults — 9:45 AM.
While the kids are learning in ALIVE, many of our parents and other adults meet together in a large room just off the foyer to learn and discuss from the Bible. We often put a passage from the Bible up on the whiteboard, and then just sit and talk through together what it means, and how God wants us to live in light of it.
What to Expect
Don’t have a suit and tie? No worries. We usually only bring those out for funerals and weddings. Come in whatever you are comfortable wearing.
The coffee is on before the service, so feel free to come a few minutes early to visit and hang out!
Got young kids or an infant? We don’t mind a little bit of noise during the service :). We believe the worship of God is a family event for both young and old. We encourage parents to sit with their kids and to teach them week by week what worshipping God is all about, and how to participate meaningfully. Kids are welcome to ask for prayer during our prayer time. And we offer a sermon notes page for kids to fill out while they listen to the sermon.
And if it’s just one of those mornings, and you need to step out of the service with your child, we have a closed-circuit cry room at the back where you can hear and see what’s going on in the sanctuary while looking after your little ones.
The service usually lasts about an hour. And for songs we tend to sing a mix of old and new.
